Gigantism: (2)
Recognizing any signs? Is your child abnormally larger than other children their age?
These symptoms vary, depending on the size of the pituitary gland tumor. These symptoms may become more prominent as your child grows older due to the tumors' growth. The tumor may start pressing on the nerves of the brain causing headaches, vision problems and nausea. Above is a nice diagram to help visualize the effects of gigantism!
